The rug is rich with pattern and color, and soft to the touch. The price point was also excellent! The brown field color is a cooler brown, almost a mushroom color. Very neutral and beautiful! Not only is this rug beautiful, it is extremely soft, and comfortable to walk on. It's like a brushed cotton feel. It arrived folded in a box (as opposed to rolled like many rugs), and has instructions on how to ease out the fold marks. They should disappear quickly. I think the muted tones are pretty, and don't "take over" the room, if you know what I mean. This rug is a very pretty color of grayish brown. The design is nice as well. It is not as thick as I would have liked, but hard to tell from the pictures.
