I have three dogs, so keeping dirt and muddy paw prints under control is a constant battle, and this has definitely helped cut down on the mess being tracked through the house. It traps a surprising amount of dirt and is soft enough that my dogs like to lay on it too. Its easy to shake out and has held up well so far.
