Rubber-Cal's Wide Rib Corrugated Rubber is a 3mm thick virgin rolled rubber mat and runner that is available in either a 36-inch or a 48-inch width that offers excellent traction with wider grooves and protrusions. The surface pattern (which is comprised of wide ridges and valleys) is more prone to trapping and cleaning debris and liquids from heavy foot traffic while maximizing the ease of cleaning and comfort. Wide Rib Corrugated Rubber is designed for light to medium foot traffic where traction and increased safety are needed and performs especially well in transient or temporary applications (e.g. wet aisle ways, catered parties, temporary walkways, etc...). The fabric base finish adds subsurface traction, keeping the runner's bottom surface secure to the floor. Since this product is made from virgin SBR it creates a completely watertight surface, offers moderate chemical resistance, and can be cleaned with most common household cleaners. Strong, highly caustic cleaning solutions (e.g. bleach) are not recommended. I’m really happy with these foam mats. I used them in my garage, and they’ve worked perfectly for creating a comfortable workout space. The interlocking pieces made installation quick and simple, and they fit together securely without shifting. The 34-inch thickness gives good support and makes workouts more comfortable, especially for bodyweight exercises and yoga. I also like that they help reduce noise and protect the flooring underneath. I have a few workout machines and a pool table in there, and the mats have helped protect the floor while making the space feel more finished and usable. I needed some gym flooring for my home gym that is getting slowly put together. These went on sale and are the perfect fit. They ship wrapped and sealed well, have a slightly rubber smell that isnt going to overwhelm you while they air out, and feel great under your feet. The edges piece together nicely however you may have to lift the edge near the corner to lay 2 together so it does press the other down. Again this is not a big deal. Finally putting the floor together is simple, Line up the edges and step, slap, stomp, or use a rubber mallot to get the edges to fit together. A product and wayfair shipped super fast. These tiles are designed to be weather resistant so they can be left outdoors year-round, even in the Hot summer sun, winter frost, and blistering cold. Installation: Please measure the area before ordering pavers. Calculate the quantity, taking into account that the rubber has elasticity, and some stretching/shrinking may occur. It's best to plan out the area in advance. Place the tiles in your desired location before the final installation. Check for variances to make sure it is a perfect fit. Be sure the ground is solid and flat before the final installation. The loose ground may cause unevenness in the future. Do not use petroleum-based solvents such as gasoline, engine oil, thinners, etc. when cleaning, and do not use glue containing volatile solvents during installation.
