With their thick 1-inch gauge, these rubber tiles are designed to withstand the most abusive conditions thus serving as a premium flooring and equipment protection product. The 1-inch thick interlocking floor tiles are thick enough to withstand dropped weight when used as weight-room floors, heavy machinery when used as equipment flooring, or to safeguard floors as floor protection mats. I've been sleeping on it for about a month now and have no issues waking up with a sore back, shoulders, or neck! A couple of things to keep in mind: this mattress is very tall, about 16", so you’ll need deep pocket sheets and a deep mattress protector, and it’s also very heavy, which makes changing the sheets a bit of a workout.
