The surface pattern (which is comprised of wide ridges and valleys) is more prone to trapping and cleaning debris and liquids from heavy foot traffic while maximizing the ease of cleaning and comfort. Wide Rib Corrugated Rubber is designed for light to medium foot traffic where traction and increased safety are needed and performs especially well in transient or temporary applications (e.g. wet aisle ways, catered parties, temporary walkways, etc...). The fabric base finish adds subsurface traction, keeping the runner's bottom surface secure to the floor. Since this product is made from virgin SBR it creates a completely watertight surface, offers moderate chemical resistance, and can be cleaned with most common household cleaners. These 5mm thick outdoor mats for under slide areas in a playground are available in three sizes. The Vin Tread flex mat, I should have found this earlier! The package arrived safe and sound, finding this true to size in a mid grey color mat. I can actually cut the mat in half so I can place in other parts of the shower entrance and under the actual shower head itself. I bought the grey color theme to blend with the beach house outdoor shower wood and to also be able to stand on the non slip so not to get splinters or sand on the feet. Each of the strips do have a ribbing form that keeps your feet steady, non slip while the design allows the water to flow away. I needed some gym flooring for my home gym that is getting slowly put together. These went on sale and are the perfect fit. The edges piece together nicely however you may have to lift the edge near the corner to lay 2 together so it does press the other down. Again this is not a big deal.
