First, the finish quality on this tub is very good, looks good. my main concern, and why I did not give it 5 stars is because the specifications and the CAD drawings spec the actual length at 66". However, the length is actually 65-3/4 " at the top of the tub and 65-5/8"at the bottom. This presented a problem requiring one of the end walls to be furred out so that the backerboard and tile installed correctly My rough-in was at 66-1/16" so as to allow the tub to slide in easily if it had been the length shown. The effortless enjoyment of Gerber® Plumbing Fixtures floor mount tub fillers begins with the simple installation of the rough-in valve. The rough-in valve can be installed in any direction as long as the bathtub center line is aligned with one of the six screws on the plaster guard. The plaster guard has a flat top for easy leveling in installation to ensure the trim will be standing straight after installation. A test cap and plugs are included for pressure testing the connection between the rough-in valve and water supply lines.
