Dial Portable Evaporative Cooler is not an air conditioner. This is economical cooling and is most effective in dry climates. The cooler comes with a manual fill & garden hose attachment with float valve auto-shut of, a water level indicator window, and 2-way airflow - manual horizontal louvre & fixed vertical louvre.

My feedback would be.........explain the hose hook-up. Really short in explanation on how after you hook the hose up to the unit, all the instructions say is, "The internal float valve will maintain the water level." My question is, do you keep the water turned on? Does the unit shut down the water and turn it on once the water level goes down? Not clear to me, maybe there are others that have the same question.. This evaporative cooler has done a very good job of keeping the room cooler by at least 20 degrees. The 4 ice packs work well to keep the water cool for quite a long time. It is very easy to operate and does not use an excessive amount of water to cool and do like it holds a lot of water. I use this as a complement to the evaporative 4700cfm that I have in the window in the far side of the house, because by the time that air gets to the back it is not as cool, so this helps a lot.
