No. But it is extremely helpful. These are things I was ready for, but some other buyers might not be ready for. This is an RF controlling device. While it makes some devices a little easier to use it does not make those devices "smart". If you have someone who likes to use the remotes a lot, the app will show incorrect settings for those devices that have changed with the remote. This does not bug me, but for someone who is not ready for that, make sure you understand what this device is first. I highly recommend Bond. This is an affordable way to use what you already have. Less devices in the landfill for replacements, and a pretty great way to control my devices from my phone. I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. On the good side, this trimmer is easy to use; the little wheels make it easier to prop it on the ground while you use it. No need to hold the trimmer up the whole time. The battery charges quickly and the trimmer works well. One the negative side, the "directions" on how to put it together are pretty nonexistent. I had to look at the picture of the item online to figure out how it went together. Also, the cord that comes with it breaks really easily. It was breaking about every 6 seconds and I'd have to re-string some more cord. We had some more heavy-duty cord from a previous trimmer, so we took off the cord that came with it, and re-strung the heavier-duty cord and then it worked great. So overall, a decent week wacker for the price, but be ready to be self-sufficient when it comes to putting it together (which isn't terribly hard) and have some better cord ready to use.. Lori.
