This was an experience. First, I couldn’t clear the utility lines at my house but my friend’s deck was perfect. We started out confident, but it didn’t last. The wrenching apparatus was our downfall. In the end we decided to forgo the winch process and hung it only using the locking mechanisms. The sail is great. It feels strong yet pliable and it’s the perfect shade of summer red. Today I got the package for silk lampshade. I have 7 orient lamps all with silk shades. The one I got early 2001 with beige scalloped shade with plastic lining until it turned brown and cracked. I have bought a small silk lampshade at lamp shop before. It was over $100 and now I am retired. I need a new shade so badly and I tried Wayfair and looked carefully with sizes. It’s affordable. Got the shade and touched carefully. The fabric is really silk! So I placed on the lamp. Sides was correct 12 inches. The bottom and top was 1.5 inches short. This is just the ticket that I need for covering my grapevines to prevent birds and turkeys from eating all of my ripen fruit. It is large enough to cover the front and back of my arbor. I live in a climate that can be 100+ most ofthe summer. I have many, many shade sails. This Royal Shade Rectangle Pro Ring Shade Sail with Installation Winch Kit is the best. The fabric is substantial and the hardware is impressive! I have not installed it it because it is still winter, lots of wind and rain. I am looking forward to getting it up in the spring.
