This was an experience. First, I couldn’t clear the utility lines at my house but my friend’s deck was perfect. We started out confident, but it didn’t last. The wrenching apparatus was our downfall. In the end we decided to forgo the winch process and hung it only using the locking mechanisms. The sail is great. It feels strong yet pliable and it’s the perfect shade of summer red. As an avid DIYer, I know the difference between good and bad products. This motorized blind is high quality. I have two universal RF hubs (Bond Bridge Pro and Toyanc IRRF transmitter) for home automation, and for some reason, both accepted the programming frequency of the remote (433.92 MHz), but neither would transmit the right codes. The material looks really good, and it is substantial, fairly heavy grade. The material is porous, so don't look for this to resist rain. All the hardware is provided. You don't have to go to the hardware store for anything. The ratcheting winches were easy to install and they do the job. Im writing this review based on packaging and quality due to the fact that I broke my wrist. I havent been able to install it yet, but i will update this review once I can. I got this to go over a cat area Im building on my property. Im hoping it will provide shelter from the sun and rain. It seems like its good quality.
