The stands themselves are beautiful and much nicer than expected. The only reason I didn't give five stars is that the screw threading on the poles was not perfect. The one pole threading had what looked like a bead of metal or possibly solder which kept the screw from attaching. Fortunately using a file I was able to remove it. A second set of threads was just a little off and I had to force the screw in. Once I got it started however it did attach. So... beautiful stands if you have a little mechanical know-how.. Pretty good! Wobbles a tiny bit, which is to be expected for something on a swivel rather than legs holding it up. So I probably wouldnt have a hot coffee on there alongside my laptop just to be safe, but it definitely does the trick otherwise.
