The chairs are truly beautiful and fairly comfortable! Assembling the back was a pain since it is “floating” so you do need to loosen the screws to maneuver the legs of the chair outward and squeeze in the back. Then you need to attach the screws in between the ropes. One of the legs started to split bc the hole was drilled at an angle difficult to screw in. Ropes are made with 100% Polypropylene Film Yarn, are 100% Waterproof, UV Treated and will not get rough on hands. Ropes are easily adjustable (6 to 8 inches) for leveling your swing. Ropes are made to fit 8-ft, 9-ft, and 10-ft ceiling height.
