Roof Vent Prestige Gardener Greenhouse

The Automatic Vent Opener was designed to automatically control the temperature in all Canopia Greenhouses. As the air inside the greenhouse warms, the vent gradually opens to allow the correct amount of air flow into the greenhouse and closes when the optimal temperature is reached. The vent arm was designed with the use of natural wax that expands as the air gets warmer, to push a piston that raises the window, then contracts as it cools, closing with the use of a spring. The Automatic Vent Opener operates without the use of electricity.

I purchased the automatic roof vent for my 6' W x 10' D Hobby Greenhouse that I bought from Wayfair thinking it would fit but it did not. I was told that I had to pay the shipping although it was within the 30 days of purchase. Is that normal?. Blanche. Augusta, GA. Mon Apr 08 2024

So we have begun to assemble. It will look like a nice structure when completed. I like it BUT, It has horrible directions, making it painfully slow to assemble. Will need to use clear silicon to keep the ceiling from leaking, and possibly the sides as well. I will reinforce the structure in the corners and secure it to the ground (for hurricane/tornado season in Texas). Personally, I will choose to replace the strategic panels with clear plexiglass so I can see inside and through to the back, or look out, as the provided panels are 'frosted'.I hope the adjustments will render it as stable as I'd like because I am very happy with the size and it's cute.... So far i am halfway through the build has taken several hours split in two days will be working on Finnishing this weekend but so far i am liking it instructions are easy to read there was one part we felt like we were on a wild goose chase but realized it was labeled wrong and has been smooth sailing. I waited until the first severe windstorm to see how it held up before writing this review. It did great! I have it bolted directly into my porch, mind you. As others have stated, assembling this is a trip to the 7th circle of hell. It took me and two other people 5 days to put this together. The instructions are very poor, things not labelled properly, some steps are backwards, some of the pieces just don't fit together quite right, you'll get part way through and then realize you put something on upside down without realising it (because it's not labelled) and then have to backtrack several steps, and so on. The wood looks great but I’m wondering if I will have to apply a protective coat over it for extra precaution. The RSI general purpose greenhouse & small building electric powered exhaust fan system is designed to fit all structures. The general design is for low profile structures that are in need of air. Their fan is proudly made in the United States and truly designed to fit all structures, but the purchaser needs to be able to retrofit the exhaust system to their own structure since each structure and building materials are different. Two ways fan can be mounted, from the outside or from the inside. If mounting from the outside a hole in the wall would need to be cut to allow for the fan and interior cage to fit through the wall. Use fasteners (not included) to fasten the fan to the wall by drilling through the framework and caulking the framework to make it water tight. The fan structure is now 100% enclosed in the building and the louvers are on the outside of the structure. If mounting from the inside, a hole in the wall would need to be cut so that the louvers will be able to open and close freely. Slide it in the opening from the inside out. The exterior lip around the louvers acts to finish off the appearance from the outside. Seal with caulking and fasten the fan to the wall (fasteners not included).
