Italian architect Gio Ponti was renowned for his modernist creations, most impressively the Pirelli skyscraper in Milan. The Pirellone™ Collection follows the slim, tapering line of the towering structure to elevate modern and transitional kitchens to new heights. The clean, crisp arc of the neck and squared-off handle and base draw the eye upward, just like its namesake. This is a gorgeous faucet. I opted for the chrome finish rather than nickel for price and care reasons. We've had this now for over a year and it is still beautiful. The only minor issue is that sometimes it seems a little too straight - for instance when I pull the spray nozzle out, it is a teensy bit hard to turn it to spray into the far corners - but I prefer the look and shape the way it is so I don't mind.
