The telescoping rail system is a great benefit. We have not yet unpacked the individual panels as we are waiting a remodel to be complete first. So far we are very pleased. We still have to cut the length but it seems pretty straight forth. The color is just what we wanted. You can leave the top track and rod as is but I think we will be adding surround of some type. They do a great job filtering light and are so much more stylish than the others we had. I bought the blue five panel for my bedroom to use as a closet ‘door’. We liked it so well we bought this on for our other bedroom. These are super easy to install. For the first one I was able to mount into studs in the ceiling but for the second one I had to use anchors. Both worked great. Thes design was perfect for a window with extremely limited space for a curtain rod and finials. I looked for a long time to find the right design for full functionality and my aesthetic. These were almost perfect. I’m glad I chose light weight curtains because the rod is not as big in diameter as I would have liked. I probably could use two sets of curtains on the window but I don’t think the rod would hold the additional weight. My curtains are fine and do cover the window fine but I would prefer to add an additional set for aesthetics only. I still love the design and would buy them again if they only came in this size. I did purchase a rod larger than I needed so that it is not hanging on just a weaker single rod. It has the support of the rod inside the rod that I’m not using. This exactly what I was hoping for! As you can tell from the photo, these are not truely semi sheer. They do allow light in however you can’t see through them – which is exactly what I wantedneeded. The wind clips, keep the blinds connected, so you won’t have them clanking around due to airflow (another huge plus!). I did have some issuesquestions about installation and the manufacturer was very kind to assist me and help me figure out the best way to install for my application.
