The telescoping rail system is a great benefit. We have not yet unpacked the individual panels as we are waiting a remodel to be complete first. We are for certain going to have to shorten the panels; if this is a bad experience I will come back after 4/10 and update the review along with appropriate star reduction. So far, so good.. Laurel. I bought the blue five panel for my bedroom to use as a closet ‘door’. We liked it so well we bought this on for our other bedroom. These are super easy to install. For the first one I was able to mount into studs in the ceiling but for the second one I had to use anchors. Both worked great. So far we are very pleased. We still have to cut the length but it seems pretty straight forth. The color is just what we wanted. You can leave the top track and rod as is but I think we will be adding surround of some type. They do a great job filtering light and are so much more stylish than the others we had. This exactly what I was hoping for! As you can tell from the photo, these are not truely semi sheer. They do allow light in however you can’t see through them – which is exactly what I wantedneeded. The wind clips, keep the blinds connected, so you won’t have them clanking around due to airflow (another huge plus!). I did have some issuesquestions about installation and the manufacturer was very kind to assist me and help me figure out the best way to install for my application. I bought these rods for a total of 4 windows in a Living Room/Dining Room combination. We have standard 8' ceilings so a bought the 96" curtains because I wanted to hang them as high as possible to the ceiling. These rods were perfect for the curtains because the clamp is super strong and I pinched the curtain so it also looks "pleated". It gives it a very custom look because the curtains literally go from floor to ceiling! The wheels are smooth and it is very easy to open and close. What sets this rod above the regular curtain rod is how it snaps into the 3 brackets but the curtain and fully open to the left or right unencumbered by the bracket in the middle.
