Very hard to find narrow base brackets that allow hook part to rotate. This is the one! We used them vertically to put curtains in closet door frame (no more sliding doors for us. This non-standard installation required some modification - basically drilling into the hook part so the screw can carry the modest weight of rod and curtain. Fortunately, the hook is solid metal, not hollow and was able to accept the screw and carry the weight. This is the second time we purchased these brackets for a vertical install for a closet door curtain. This curtain rod/track system worked perfect. I ordered two each 96inch tracks for a larger patio window the need two tracks for the entire space. Wayfair was much cheaper than manufacturers site, and Wayfair had longer lengths than big box store that cuts them into smaller pieces. PRO: + Track is very rigid and maintains shape across big span + Painting and finish was perfect (white) + The glides are excellent, glide easily across large space + Ceiling mount was perfect, allow mounting very close/tight to ceiling. singe screw holds mount in-place, and allows easy removal. I didn't need wall mount, but the hardware was really good quality. CON: - No instructions on ceiling mount (had only instructions for wall mount) - No slice connector included.
