These are linings, not curtains, and are not white but a metallic grey. Lost a star for that and the packaging even calls them white. They are not completely blackout, but I wanted them more for sun protection. I especially like them for the feel, much more fabric-like than I expected. Perhaps that is why they are not fully blackout. Read the sizes - as lining they are shorter and narrower than a curtain panel and they are sized to lie flat against a curtain with folds. If you want to fold with the curtain, you need two lining panels, and they have velcro partly along the edges to hold them together. I sewed them to my curtains, and had to turn in the sides as two are slightly wider than the curtain ( 2 x 27" versus 52"). They do provide hooks and the panels have loops at the top so this isn't necessary but I want them to move with the curtains. The velcro made things a little puckery in the back.. Gillian. Very happy with the product and works as described. I would point out that you need to use the provided 1/2 inch connectors as the bidet requires that size.
