Although it’s called petrified wood and was actually natural wood at one point in time, it is now stone. Over thousands of years, the process of fossilization has replaced all the organic materials in the wood with minerals, keeping the structure of the wood, but effectively turning it into stone. Each Petrified Wood sink is unique, no two are alike. The shape and size vary for every piece and can range from 14 to 25 in. in length (side to side) and 11 to 24 in. in width and 4.75 to 7 in. in height.
