These natural live edge premium hardwood narrow rustic display shelves can also be used as a floating bookshelf or floating mantel. Stunning and unique golden brown coloration accentuating natural lighter blonde grain. If you're looking for something richer in color than maple, but not as dark as walnut, this stunning species is for you! Mostly these will have a live edge with a varying depth of around 6" - 9". They all have their own beautiful and unique character, and will always be created from kiln dried chestnut. Some will have curl, knots, and/or spalting, and no two will look exactly the same. If you order multiple shelves in one order, we will create them from the same slab or same log so they look similar and complement each other. It is a very nice shelf but I thought it would be 12” deep for the entire length of the shelf and there is just the middle spot that maybe reach 12” the other part of the shelf are around 8-9” at the most.
