This is my second attempt at buying/using an ice maker. The first time I never worked and that’s bc it was a very poorly ventilated mobile home in Florida and the heat was too much. Now, I’m in a ‘regular’ home and thought I’d give it another’s try with this model and low and behold, this thing cranks out the ice non-stop and you don’t need to stand their while it’s doing it but it helps bc you do want to put the ice in your freezer - I used a metal mixing bowl and filled it to the top in mere minutes. This is a very beautiful star light. Very easy to assemble. My only concern was the heat from the bulb potentially igniting the paper, but I was advised by the company to use an LED bulb which emits lets heat and so I am trying that.
