I picked these stone veneers as they were neutral colored. I went back and painted a light white over the veneers and sponged the paint in. Added a wood frame and indirect lighting. Love the wall and am so happy with the overall look. I ordered 16 veneers in all so four packages. I laid them all out on the floor first to get a pattern that flowed. The veneers don’t all lay flat so I used a wood frame behind them and attached them to the frame with Brad nails. Easy to attach to frame and with the nails and you can pull them off and adjust if need be. Very easy to work with. I even had to cut 5” off the bottom row and super easy to cut with jigsaw. For the past few months, I’ve been updating all the doors in my home, switching them from white to black. When I came across this door, I decided to order it for my closet to add a different design and save myself from having to paint another one. I’m so happy with how beautiful this door is, it completely elevated the look of my closet! It’s such a simple change, but it made a big difference. Just a heads-up the door does not come with a pre-cut hole for the doorknob or hinges. Thankfully, my husband was able to handle that without any issues. Very nice door. Well made. Easy to clean. Looks good too! Unfortunately I didn’t measure right and our doors are either bigger or smaller. So we can’t install it right now.
