I recently purchased a new dryer and have been disappointed with both the design and overall performance. The biggest issue is the venting system. The vent connection feels poorly engineered, making installation more difficult than it should be, and airflow does not seem efficient. Even with a properly cleaned vent line, the dryer struggles to circulate heat effectively. Drying times are much longer than expected. A normal-sized load often requires two or even three cycles before clothes are fully dry, which wastes both time and energy. Heavier items like towels and bedding come out damp around the edges and need additional drying. The build quality also feels underwhelming for a new appliance. Some components seem lightweight and not very durable, especially around the lint filter and vent connection areas. For the price, I expected a much more reliable and better-designed product. Overall, this dryer has been frustrating to use due to the poor venting design, inconsistent drying performance, and excessive drying times. I installed this unit in my 2/1 1960's condo replacing a 30gal water heater. What a great product! The install was easy i had to upgrade my breaker to a 60 from a 30 which meant upgrading the wiring gauge, which wasn't hard at all. I have hot water on demand now that never runs out! my 30 gal tank would only provide about a 5 min shower now its as long as i want. I have to fill my tub with free flow hot water at only half flow but to keep hot water but i figured as much from such a small unit. overall it was very much worth it to ditch the hot water storage tank and have hot water on demand for as along as in need it. If i were to try to heat a larger house with 2 or 3 baths I would suggest a larger unit but the product is GREAT!!. Nonya. FL. Wed Apr 10 2024
