This is a gorgeous rug for what I believe is an awesome price. In the pictures it looks like it almost has a shag to it- it doesn’t, it’s totally flat. The quasi-shag look comes from light brown specs on the rug. It’s really a pretty rug. Only gave 4 stars because I just got it and want to see how it holds up. It is also very soft. The pile is not as high as advertised which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. It is 38 inch vs. 12 so that was a bit disappointing. Overall, this rug is pretty good. The colors are pretty accurate to what was pictured. It is definitely a thinner rug so a rug pad would be needed. It came tightly rolled up so definitely needs time once opening to lay flat. Placing heavy books on the ends helped. It is soft feeling. I think it will hold up for a while.
