I like this rug runner a lot. It is protecting my carpet in a heavy traffic area. It is nice to look at and soft to walk on but not slippery, in fact it hasnt moved on the carpet since I put it down either. It feels secure. It also blends in well, neutral and not too obvious. Another reason I wanted the floor protected here is because my new puppy keeps peeing in this spot. Gerber isnt as well-known a brand as some others, but when I was shopping for fixtures for a full bathroom, it was carried by a local, highly-respected plumbing supply store, and I wound up choosing them for their design. Overall, this rug is pretty good. The colors are pretty accurate to what was pictured. It is definitely a thinner rug so a rug pad would be needed. It came tightly rolled up so definitely needs time once opening to lay flat. Placing heavy books on the ends helped. It is soft feeling. I think it will hold up for a while. If you're not ashamed then you should be. I ordered five of these items and it was a mixture of different kinds of screws, rod thread lengths, and finishes. One type of screw tightened the thing down, the other type did not. I get it that if these cost a dollar each it might warrant the poor quality of the order, but for the price NOT WORTH IT!
