Uhg! I’m once again wishing for 3.5 stars or a 710. Yes, the Rev-A-Shelf does work and their competition is weak, so I keep buying it. I think this is number four for me in the last few years. It works but they cost so much and leave so much to be desired. The main lacking component in this piece is the absolute waste of space above the can which could easily have been a pull-out drawer. If you’re looking at other pieces, my experience says they’re most likely lacking something too. I hope a competitive company that’s actually good enters the market. For now, let me tell you, it’s probably less expensive and better quality to have something custom-made. I’m doing that for another piece in my kitchen and saving money. I just couldn’t find good cans for this one or would’ve done it too. I purchased the 35 quart double bin Rev-a-Shelf garbage can set. Wonderful product. Very easy to install inside a kitchen cabinet. First time I’ve been able to hide my trash can! The lids are the perfect final touch. I wanted to limit trash odors both inside and outside of cabinet. They just slide on the top of the trash cans easily and help keep your trash bag in place. Not the easiest thing to install - after all, it's a blind corner. But once installed, it turned out great. Except that we can't slide it sideways as the stove sticks out too far that is beside our cling corner. But because the shelves easily lift out, we make it work.
