The Outdoor Dog Kennel is fantastic. This is a two-person project. You can put it together by yourself, as that is what I did. However, it takes 2 to 3 times longer to put together by yourself and at times it is very hard to maneuver the enclosure by yourself. The dog kennel is big enough for two large dogs and still leaves plenty of room for them to play with each other, and run around. There are two draw backs for me. The first is that the gate/door is hard to open, when you unlatch the top latch, and then go to unlatch the bottom latch, then the top latch will close again. Therefore, you will need to open the top and bottom together. Second, the gate/door does not stay open. I would like the dogs to be able to go into the enclosure for shade while I am at work, but since the door cannot stay open they would not be able to get back out. I did panel moulding with one sheet wide by 3 feet long. There were three panels like this using the Doxie paper. Below the boxes was chair rail. The Doxie design reminds me a little of Picasso’s line drawing of his beloved dachshund. Everyone who has seen this loves it. Be aware the black lines of the drawing is not completely unbroken. It is also not a really bold powerful black. If this concerns you, you may want to get a sample first. Also the paper has a very papery feel, much different than some vinyl papers. I used sizing and a fair amount of wallpaper paste. It doesn’t move easily like the old American made prepasted vinyl paper. I did the install myself since for small jobs I’m more particular than most of today’s pros. In any event, if you want something with some style and whimsy, this was a great pattern.. Hot Shopper.
