This desk looks exactly as pictured. It is a very pretty desk and well made. My only minor complaint is that there is some off-gassing from the drawers. I bought this desk for a very specific purpose. I wanted to replace a large mahogany desk in my den with a smaller light duty desk that would be used sporadically for "office" work.
