But the dimensions were in the description. Just noting that for others to check the height of your chairs maybe before you decide. This desk looks exactly as pictured. It is a very pretty desk and well made. My only minor complaint is that there is some off-gassing from the drawers. I bought this desk for a very specific purpose. I wanted to replace a large mahogany desk in my den with a smaller light duty desk that would be used sporadically for "office" work.
