This table is very solid and has a beautiful color. Overall, I really love it and it looks great in the room. There are a few rough spots on the base and the side of the top that should have been sanded better, and I hope they don’t catch when cleaning and start to pull up over time. This table features custom solid brass forged hardware, pie-cut mahogany field, a two-tone satinwood inlaid border, black and white Hepplewhite inlaid perimeter skirt, and an overbuilt and very sturdy Duncan Phyfe-inspired saber leg pedestal. The feet also have durable, adjustable levels which are generous enough to accept a large felt pad. The table and leaf locks have a cam-like action, so they hold the table seams tight when you open and close them. The table is finished in warm mahogany. The apron is flame mahogany decorated with two fine satinwood inlays.

This is a mahogany breakfast table made to order in the Leighton Hall shop in Suwanee, Georgia. It can have multiple uses. It can be used as a breakfast table, game table, foyer table, writing table or dining table for a small area. It features a top of cathedral mahogany with a straight grain mahogany border. The edge features a solid mahogany three beaded profile. It has a dark brown mahogany stain with a hand rubbed and polished semigloss sheen on the top. The pedestal has traditional styling with a fluted urn carved center column and four fluted legs which terminate with antique brass lions paw feet. Dimensions: 48” x 36” x 30” tall.
