Was a little disappointed that it didn't come with a remote (apparently a small oversight on my part). With 15' cathedral ceilings, a pull chain was not an option. A quick call to a very helpful Wayfair sales rep pointed me in the right direction on which remote was compatible with this specific fan model. The remote was easy to install and it worked like a charm. Fan assembly was easy. We also added a longer (24") down rod (purchased from our local box store) with no issues. I needed a fan for my loft that would help circulate the air for efficiency in heating and cooling. But, I don't really like the look of most ceiling fans and didn't need to have lights in it. So, I ordered this with reservations because it is so expensive. However, it really looks nice, is well balanced so it doesn't wobble one bit, and it is absolutely silent when it's on. My electrician said it's very good quality, was straight forward to install, and has a good motor. There is a remote control I can use to regulate speed and direction, which comes with a holder that can be installed on the wall next to the switch so it is less likely to get lost. Studio White with White Blades

Installation was manageable, but the ground wire could have been a bit longer for an easier installation. It’s a bit noisy, but it’s only been installed for 24 hours, so hopefully it gets quieter. I like the look of the fan.. Shirley. Redbridge, ON. Sun Dec 10 2023

This ceiling fan is a wonderful addition to the Kichler Canfield Collection. The 5 blades are pitched 14 degrees to provide optimal airflow. The 172mm x 20mm Motor will provide the quiet power you need. This fan comes complete with a pull chain (3 speeds forward and reverse) and one 4 inch downrod. It is low ceiling adaptable.

Fan is very nice looking, sturdy. 2 small issues, the fan came with no assembly instructions which I was able to find on line, there was also some sliver cable attached with the wires and I have no idea what that was for.
