I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. The product was perfect for our needs. The price was very fair and the financing was great. The set up was easy. The only thing that should be addressed is in the set-up of the CO2 gauages and connections. That section of the manual could use a little more clarity. These vintage style door levers are constructed of diecast and come in a beautiful finish. They feature a heavy weighted casting design and unique Silencer bushings for smooth operation. This set of levers is designed for indoor use only, and it includes one 2-3/4 inch steel spindle, and one 3-5/8 inch steel spindle with 3/8 inch-20 threads. These French style levers fit 1/4 inch square drive spindle systems commonly found in antique and vintage door hardware sets, and with the two (2) provided square spindles, it can adjust to accommodate doors of different thicknesses. The lever shanks include setscrews for fastening to the square spindles. All other components of matching vintage design must be purchased separately to include the internal mortise lock body, the door rosettes, the trim and strike plates, or the latch and fasteners. Note: These levers cannot be used on pre-bored doors that have large, newer style doorknob holes without first prepping them to receive this older-style hardware. Installation tip: Because the fasteners of the rosettes (purchased separately) require a solid surface to mount to, the large 2-1/8 inch (approximate size) holes must first be filled with a hardening filler, to then be able to receive the rosette fasteners. Products like Fix-It-All and Bondo Body Filler have worked well for some, but care must be used to avoid damaging any prefinished door surfaces during application and finishing.
