It was an easy replacement in place of the single towel bars. I love this! I have a contemporary master bathroom that doesn't have a lot of ventilation, ad a wonderful pool/spa with wet towels and bathing suits, that gives you a need for a heated towel rack that dries 'em. This does that. I agree with other posters that having more space between the bars would have been nice, maybe the top bar with a 6" spread. BUT it looks gorgeous! This is my second towel bar. The first one broke . I did lean on it but the solder was not all the way around the bracket that attached to the bar. My husband put JB weld on it and it still snapped at the solder joint. I bought another one, instead of returning it because we made a repair. I would recommend this towel bar.
