We love that the low-noise reversible DC motor has six speeds selected with a remote control. It takes six candle-style bulbs (sold separately) for an ambient glow. The fan works great and the light has 3 modes- yellowsoft, white and blue white. My only issue with this, which is partially my fault, is that there is no option for a dimmer… and let me tell you this light is BRIGHT. Unbelievably bright.
