Beautiful chair, beautifully made, expensive but worth it. So comfortable, the cushions are firm and supportive, and the fabric is sturdy with a lovely texture. The recliner mechanism is smooth and adjustable to where you want it. I got the wall hugger one which is great for my space. I was not happy with customer service, five stars for the chair but two stars for customer service. They very reluctantly responded to my request for brass nailheads instead of silver ones, I had to press for it- initially I was told they wouldn’t do that. A chair, especially one so expensive, that is made to order should be customizable. Are you listening, Perigold? There are other furniture sites and stores that sell it and they are willing to order as requested. All it takes is contacting the manufacturer. But I’m very happy with my chair.. Anne. Gerber isnt as well-known a brand as some others, but when I was shopping for fixtures for a full bathroom, it was carried by a local, highly-respected plumbing supply store, and I wound up choosing them for their design. Now that Im redoing the kitchen, I especially looked for their options. Im glad I did, because it looks great. Its a tad shorter than other similar options, which is a good thing for my application.
