This range hood is high quality. I bought a cheaper version a few years ago for my old house. I liked it, but now that I have this I can see where the cheaper one was lacking. This range hood is thicker steel that wont dent as easily. The oil tray is steel, the baffle filters feel commercial grade, the large duct size really moves a lot of air. I am glad I spent the money. Its loud but quieter than the old one. Relatively quiet for the amount of air it moves. The instructions are good, mounting is easy and secure. Fantastic sink grid. The grids dimensions are exactly as indicated and fits perfectly into my double-bowl sink. We couldn't be happier. The bottom of the grid has rubber feet, which soften the contact between the grid and sink when my 5 year old throws his dishes into sink.
