My husband LOVES watching the birds in the backyard. I thought he would enjoy this bird feeder when the weather is rough and he cannot sit outside. He decided our bedroom window is where he wanted it and proceeded to install. It had a gap on the top that he somehow fixed. I think some cuts were involved. Pretty happy with it. I bought it in charcoal and up close it looks like plastic (which of course it is), but it’s a great size. The planter area is a little odd. I need to buy some sort of basket that will fit there. I’ve got a rain chain going into it and I have it hooked up to another barrel (for symmetry), even though the other barrel isn’t hooked up to a downspout.
