The soft top is an amazing foam cover that is not easily affected by the chemicals found in hot tubs. This soft top does not absorb water unlike most foam covers on the market. The foam cover is 1/4" thick and comes in a roll which you can trim to custom-fit the shape of your spa. The floating cover floats on top of the spa water to retain heat and condensation. To obtain the utmost in energy efficiency, use the soft top with a rigid, hardcover; the dead air space that forms between the two covers provides excellent protection against heat loss. Compared to commonly used solar blanket material, the soft top insulate far better and will last much longer.

The product is beautiful and easy to assemble. The only thing was that it came in a wide wooden box that couldn't fit through my front gate and the delivery people said they cannot turn the box onto it's side to fit through the front. Sitting leaning forward in our sauna isn't comfortable at all for me, even resting my hands/elbows on my legs. I want to relax and leaning back without damaging/staining the sauna is what I wanted. This backrest is perfect. It came perfectly assembled. Is lightweight, and easy to handle. The wood matches the sauna closely, so it looks like it is part of it. Sitting up, it isn't quite perfect because to have any kind of slope, it puts you on the edge of the seat, but lounging in the sauna on the bench, perfect. So far, I love it! I actually wanted a smaller sauna, to fit the niche of a removed (never-used) Jacuzzi bathtub. My wife didn't like my selection (too many knots in the wood), so I let her talk me into buying the Worthington model. I had to tear out the tile and sheet-rock on the two side walls, just to fit the sauna into the space.
