Well this is now called the quainsion, since we have three button quail living in this little mansion. It was not difficult to put together. My fiance would have but he was sick so I struggled through it and I can't even nail in a nail straight. Lol he did put some waterproofing on it so it will last longer, and for quail, he put a second latching mechanism so it will be difficult for raccoons to get in. A burrow-style hideout—lined with removable, washable faux-sheepskin—is tucked beneath the ramp, creating a “cave café” for shy guinea pigs or mini-lop loungers. The ramp itself is machined from kiln-dried applewood, naturally high in fiber and irresistible to gnaw, yet sealed with food-grade carnauba wax so it won’t splinter. Deep, laser-etched grooves provide traction for tiny feet while looking like a woodland path.

Took about an hour to put together. Directions are just pictures. The cage is made from cedar so very soft wood. Be easy screwing it together. Don't over do it. It is nice once finished. Although ours had some blemishes it came with on the stained areas to be new. We also had an issue with the pieces that came not flush put together in the factory when placing the wheels on.
