I have had this headboard for a few years now and it is still sturdy and strong. I put it together myself in less than an hour. It is very solid and doesn't rock or shake when you roll over. We are very happy with our new Linda upholstered bed. We love the chenille ivory color. It goes so well in our bedroom with the dark colored walls. We ordered a king, to replace a queen that we had, and it is amazing how much more room we have while sleeping. It took my husband about 3 hours to assemble. He said the directions were very clear, so it made it easier to put together. We also added a foam mattress that we ordered on Wayfair, and it fits perfectly on the slats of the bed.
