Hes a typical PVC drop ceiling tiles. I will not be using them in that manner as Im going to mount them directly to the ceiling with the wood trim. I will say the PVC quality is very much above average. These tiles are molded with a thicker stock material than what I normally see. This wall-mounted control is compatible with most Fanimation ceiling fans. Utilizes a slider to control three fan speeds, allowing you to simply control the output of your ceiling fan.

My electricians installed 9 of these into our new house with Spitfire Fanimation fans so that we wouldn't need to mount remotes on our walls. I select this switch option because we do not have light kits with our fans. No issues with install but I find the the lowest setting on the switch is still really fast. It seems like there needed to be at least another one or two lower speed settings on these switches.
