I like that we got to choose a configuration and it was fairly easy to set up. I have never had drywall in my laundry room so we didn’t have to take any down, and the brackets and box were a perfect fit for our area. The quality of all parts were great. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great quality ice maker box by Oatey. The I2K is very simple to install and comes with clear instructions. It has a 1/4 turn valve for easy on and off. You can adjust the faceplate to the depth of the drywall from 1/2-5/8” to fit in most standard drywall. It has quick nail install which gives the option for direct to stud install without a bracket. While I personally prefer air flaps, this is a benefit to others. It also allows the option of right or left side stud installation. I’m very impressed with the heavy duty plastic on this box compared to others I’ve used, as well.
