This fan is nice looking and minimalist. Very small housing with a simple design. It is easy to put together and hang. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I don't love the paint on the blades. Was a little disappointed that it didn't come with a remote (apparently a small oversight on my part). With 15' cathedral ceilings, a pull chain was not an option. A quick call to a very helpful Wayfair sales rep pointed me in the right direction on which remote was compatible with this specific fan model. The remote was easy to install and it worked like a charm. Fan assembly was easy. We also added a longer (24") down rod (purchased from our local box store) with no issues. This is a beautiful fan. I was surprised to see it is plastic. It is not white I would say more an off white. It is plenty large- which is good for my large room. The fan shakes when turned all the way up. I called customer service and they offered to have a new one sent. But that wouldve meant paying my electrician more to take it down and put up another one.
