i have to admit i had no idea what to expect. Truly i just thought these would be some cheap light weight metal brackets. they were delivered very quickly. I went to pick up the box off the patio... again, thinking these were probably some cheap light weight metal brackets, but the box was heavy! quite heavy. I brought them in and pulled them out of the box and was very surprised and pleased at the weight and quality of these brackets. We had spent a lot of money on a large under mount hand hammered copper metal sink and i was concerned about the weight of the sink being carried by just the cabinet. i found these online and took a shot at them. very stout piece of metal and nice construction. I can find "cheaper" glasses, but these are big bang for your buck if you want to get a quality glass and not break the bank. They were produced throughout central Asian countries and were usually part of a bridal dowry or special political gifts. This one is from India. Its level of preservation supports that it was only brought out and used for special occasions.
