This is a great little dehumidifier. We got it for our basement because our old one was getting old and starting to have problems. This one is smaller and a lot quieter. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports. This dehumidifier works so well it actually made our smart thermostat send alert that humidity had dropped below normal.
