I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. This is a great undermount steel sink. Size is pleasant for being only 22 inches, and deep, in order to accommodate items without splashing. There is some kind of sound deadening foam panels adhered to all sides, and the whole of the underneath of the basin has been coated with some kind of sprayed on dampening to help prevent echoing and clattering. This is a great sink with nice accessories. You should note that this sink does not come with the wire rack insert that lies at the bottom of the sink. We have never liked those, so it was not an issue for us. You may need to note with your installer that the ledge is meant to hold platform accessories it’s possible that they might not install enough of a gap to accommodate them. I’m so excited for this sink to be up and running. We are having new countertops installed in a few days and they will be doing all the installation. This sink is beautiful. The bowls are very deep and that stainless steel is sleek. I love that the bowls are squared and not the normal rounded out corners.
