The eco power flush valve is highly efficient, replenishing power stores with no minimum daily usage. No external power source or battery replacement is necessary. Ensuring that water flows only when needed, the self-adjusting eco power sensor is now stronger with a wider detection range that eliminates ghost flushing that could wastewater, and now supports improved automatic flushing to prevent missed flushes. A manual override flush button is present when needed. My 20-year old shower was leaking out the shower head even after replacing the mixer cap (rotating valve). Then I bought this, the pressure balancing unit (PBU) and after replacing both, there are no leaks and it works better than new. Kohler will say that this PBU is not the solution to a leaky shower head, but it was for me. Watch the Kohler installation video and buy both this PBU and the temperature regulator and you will be good as new. The parts change out quickly and easily with simple tools.
