I am so excited for this mini split unit. Getting a new central air conditioner is just not in the cards right now. This is a very affordable price for the amount of ac and heat that you are getting. Things of note, we had to buy a specialty drill bit to be able to install the units properly. We live in a brick house and needed to be able to drill through the brick. The lines that connect from outside to inside need about a 2 inch diameter hole to pass through. We also decided to buy a rack so that we could hang the main condenser above the ground. We were not able to install this by ourselves and had to call for reinforcements via an HVAC guy. Once everything is finished being installed I will update with the finished product! UPDATE: like others have posted, you will need a special HVAC vacuum to start the unit. You will also need special wire and a 220 outlet to connect to. Powered by the force of running water, ECOPOWER hydro-turbines create an electrical current that is stored in rechargeable cells to power the Smart Sensor System of the faucet. The ECOPOWER faucet is highly efficient, replenishing power stores in as little as five uses daily. No external power source or battery replacement is necessary. The ECOPOWER 0.35 GPM 20 second on-demand controller uses only 0.12 gallons per cycle and is CEC and CALGreen compliant. The water will flow continuously for 20 seconds, preventing water waste from the faucet being left running. Included: controller and mounting hardware.
