We had this system installed in our remodeled bathroom in September 2023. For the most part, it has worked beautifully and we've been ecstatic with it. However, it is not without issues. It has to be re-paired with Amazon Alexa every 3 months, unlike every other Alexa skill out there. Why? Who knows. Because Kohler says so, I guess. Lately it has been needing to be re-paired every 2 weeks (today was the 3rd time). Also today it said there's a firmware update, but when I go to update I get a message that the shower is offline and I need to check the wifi connection. How? There's no wifi settings on the shower setup or in the app, or in my Kohler account anywhere. There is an Advanced/Locked section of settings that requires a PIN on the in-shower control and I have no idea what the PIN is or how to find it; we didn't set it and we can't get into these settings. The brown veneer trim is pre-glued with strong hot melt adhesive. Glue is evenly distributed on the trim for a permanent bond on your furniture or shelf edges. Glue is activated by heat. To apply the veneer edge banding, simply iron it onto the surface using a household iron or edge banding machine. If using a household iron, turn the heat setting to cotton/high. The veneer is made of Grade A quality with beautiful long-lasting finish. Also, the edge banding tape can be trimmed if needed or lightly sanded down to fit your furniture edge. Gerber isnt as well-known a brand as some others, but when I was shopping for fixtures for a full bathroom, it was carried by a local, highly-respected plumbing supply store, and I wound up choosing them for their design.
