This dehumidifier has a nice digital display and is easy to read. It has 2 fan speeds and I like the option to set a certain amount of time for the unit to run. Some of the control options are not explained in the user manual (like what is purpose of the “Air Supply” indicator). And the 5 safety instruction regarding cleaning the unit is an example of not being proofed by an English proficient person (photo of page provided). It’s easy to open and remove the water tank for emptying having both the tank and access to the reusable filter in the front is very handy. Although the dehumidifier is a bit heavy, it rolls easily to move from room to room. The unit’s humidity gauge shows a higher room level than our 2 digital gauges, but it seems to be doing a good job of removing humidity from our house. So far it is working well. I gave it 4 stars due to lack of detailed info for the Control Panel. UPDATE After using the unit for a bit, there is a noticeable hum even when running on low. This dehumidifier keeps my 700 sq foot apartment humidity levels below 50% -- if not on, the humidity climbs to the high 70s! It's not very loud--just a little white noise in the background that doesn't interfere with TV, music, conversations, etc. I do have to empty the tank every day (sometimes 2x), but it's easy to take out and dump in my sink so not a problem. My previous dehumidifier was the smaller version and ran continuously for almost a year, but then stopped working. I was refunded the amount I paid for that one, and in turn bought this one.
